Information of UGC NET 2014:
University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test is conducted by CSIR two times in a year. These examinations are taken to test eligibility of candidates for appointment on Junior Research Fellowship or Lectureship. However, to get scholarship candidates require to secure higher merit and also they need to select preference of applying for NET along with UGC online application form. All candidates having age less than 28 years can also apply for Net. In case of women age relaxation to fill UGC form and selecting NET to qualify for scholarship during their research program is available. Various subjects are open to candidates of all stream and every one willing to apply for online application for UGC NET 2014 June exam should check their individual subject and percentage marks eligibility before applying. 

Important Dates of UGC NET 2014:

1. Opening date of online registration: 10.02.2014
2. Last date for online submission of applications: 04.03.2014
3. Last date for receipt of hard copy of online Application: 08.03.2014
4. Date of UGC NET 2014 Exam: 22.06.2014

Eligibility required for NET 2014:

Particular/ post	Age	Educational Qualification
JRF (NET) Posts	Aspirants should not be above 28 years as on 1st Jan 2014	Candidates must have cleared BS- 4 years program/ BE/ B.Tech/ B. Pharma/ MBBS/ Integrated BS- MS/ M. Sc. or equivalent degree/ B.Sc (Hons) or equivalent degree or students enrolled in integrated MS- Ph. D program with at least 55% marks for General & OBC while 50% required for SC/ ST.
Lectureship (NET)	Not Mentioned	Candidates should hold Ph. D degree with qualified Master’s Degree well before 19th September 1991, with at least 50% marks.

Examination fee structure:
Applicants participating in UGC NET examination have to give examination fee towards the organizing authorities. For General Candidates, fee payable is Rs. 400/- while OBC candidates have to pay Rs. 200/- as examination fee. Candidates belong to SC/ ST and having physical disability are required to pay only Rs. 100 towards the payment of fee.
How to apply for UGC NET Examination:
Council of Scientific & Industrial Research has invited online applications from eligible and interested candidates. First candidates have to visit official website www.ugcnetonline.in and follow the link to register for application. After submitting application duly completed, applicants should take the printout of online application form and send it to below mentioned address along with required documents.
